About Me
I am a U.S. Army veteran and University of Louisville alum where I obtained my B.S in Physics. As an undergraduate, I also conducted astrophysical research with Dr. Benne Holwerda.
My research interests include galaxy formation and evolution, the circumgalactic and intergalactic media, and galaxies at high redshift. My major scientific interests concern how galaxies form and continue to be fueled throughout their evolution.
I'm a huge Star Wars nerd and have far too many personal interests and hobbies. A select few are reading (genres: history, science fiction, science non-fiction), blacksmithing, hiking, and 3D printing.
My current goal is to be accepted to graduate school so that I can obtain a Ph.D. in astrophysics. After this obtaining my degree I hope to take some time to travel overseas and answer the open questions about how spiral galaxies obtain new, star-forming fuel.
